1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and placing an order with Great Lake Seafood Trading Inc. through oceantaste.ca, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms and conditions contained in these Terms of Service.

2. Products and Pricing

  • All products are premium frozen seafood items
  • Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • We reserve the right to update product prices at any time
  • Product availability is subject to change without notice

3. Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability
  • Payment must be completed at the time of order
  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, e-transfer, and cash on delivery
  • A valid phone number is required for order coordination

4. Pickup and Delivery Options

Pickup

  • Pickup is available at Great Lake Seafood Trading Inc.
  • Pickup hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup
  • Please bring valid identification when picking up your order

Delivery Hours

Deliveries are made between Monday and Friday from 7PM to 11PM. Our team will notify you of your expected delivery window within this timeframe.

5. Product Inspection

  • Customers must inspect all products immediately upon pickup or delivery
  • Any issues must be reported at the time of pickup/delivery or immediately after
  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, delayed claims may not be accepted

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Due to the perishable nature of frozen seafood, we do not accept returns on retail purchases
  • Refunds or replacements are handled on a case-by-case basis for damaged or defective products only
  • Photographic evidence may be required for refund or replacement claims
  • Issues must be reported immediately upon receiving your order

7. Product Quality and Food Safety

  • All products are sold frozen and must be kept frozen until use
  • Customer is responsible for proper storage after pickup or delivery
  • We are not responsible for product quality issues resulting from improper storage or handling

8. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from missed deliveries due to customer unavailability
  • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the products
  • We are not responsible for allergic reactions or foodborne illness resulting from improper handling or storage

9. Privacy

  • Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • We collect contact information for order fulfillment and delivery coordination only

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time
  • Continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of updated terms
